Al Jada Masterplan
Working alongside a masterplanning lead consultant, South undertook the landscape component of the Al Jada Masterplan. Located in Sharjah, the vision for the development was to offer a lifestyle that integrates living, working and entertainment into a vibrant and unique urban environment. The development was envisaged to form a new destination in the emirate, with cultural, retail and entertainment districts distinguished through its unique architecture and quality of public realm.
The development was subdivided into districts, each with its own identity and character providing residents and visitors with a variety of attractions and lifestyles. Districts range from diverse residential, mid-density communities to lively neighbourhoods that offer high end cultural and retail facilities. The districts were linked to each other by a green landscape network which converged at the centre of the development.
