Damac Maison

Damac Maison is a serviced hotel apartment development located in the Dubai Downtown area, in close proximity to the Dubai Mall. Commissioned to design the outdoor spaces when the building was already partially constructed, South inherited a pool structure and existing slab level to accommodate on the 6th floor amenity deck.

A linear pattern was overlaid, with quality finishes adopted for the pool and composite timber decking and gravel used to facilitate surface drainage. The amenity deck also features a children’s play area, an open shisha area as well cabanas nestled amongst travertine clad planters and frangipani trees in large corten steel pots.

On the ground floor, the linear banding was continued with paving bands and planting strips surrounding the building periphery.  At the entrance to the building, feature paving pattern and colour was used to tie in with the marble flooring of the lobby and introduce visitors to the opulent interior theme.
