Aloft Hotel
Located on the eastern crescent of Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah, the Aloft Hotel’s exterior spaces were designed on the premise of an urban beach escape.
With open views towards the iconic Burj Al Arab, the pool deck was kept uncluttered with simple clean lines and a predominantly neutral colour pallet. A pop of colour was introduced with bright red palm planters, while an expressed pool anchored by a water wall adds vertical interest to the linearity of the design. There is also a separate children’s pool and play area to the southern end of the terrace.
The hotel entrance is fronted by an arrival plaza, where a central water feature facilitates circulation. A water wall greets visitors on their right as they turn in to the porte cochere, while linear patterning and various hardscape textures define pedestrian, driveway and parking areas.
