Luxury Villa Development
South were commissioned by Al Wafraa Properties Development LLC (later Ellington) to undertake the concept design for a small luxury villa development located on Frond N of Palm Jumeirah, Dubai. Comprising four identical G+1 villas, the brief was to prepare two landscape options for review and selection by the developer as part of a design & build process. While each option had a similar layout, the difference was based upon end cost – including shade structures and the specification of finishes.
A linear overflow pool is the focal point of the outdoor space, taking advantage of the frond location and allowing views across the adjacent water. Hardscape finishes include Italian stone, porcelain, Resysta decking and river washed pebbles, all in neutral tones to complement the villa architecture.
